Archaeological Museum - Palazzo Ateneo, Piazza Umberto I - Bari

Opened at the end of the 19th century, the Archaeological Museum exhibits over 30,000 finds including Daunean and Apulian pottery of Greek origin with black paint and red figures, Greek and Corinthian and Attic pottery, stone and bronze sculptures, coins from various eras. Also Greek and Latin inscriptions, ancient gems in bone and ivory, ornamental glass and amber.
